Abstract

Challenges L. B. Perry and P. R. Abramson's (1980) conclusions about the degree to which the American Psychological Association ethical principles on debriefing have been reported in the literature, questions the necessity of reporting the existence or details of debriefing, and supports their recommendations for debriefing practice.
